Barend Massow Hemmes Portrait

Massow Concept Cycles Launched!

The Jaguar ‘leaper’, the forerunner of Barend Massow Hemmes’

concept motorbikes, was initially conceived on paper in 1997, and begun to take physical

shape in 2006. After it’s first appearance in T3 magazine the bike drew further attention from

The Daily Mail, Men & Motors, BBC News 24, and numerous sites across the internet.

Based on the famous car manufacturer logo, the 8’ long bike, engineered

in stainless steel with an ebony lacquered fibreglass fairing, is the first of

a range of bikes designed by Hemmes, based on iconic corporate logos. Hemmes’ concept

folio includes other designs inspired by Ferrari, Bentley, Harley Davidson, Rolls Royce and Red Bull.

Commissions for his other vehicles and their development start at £85,000.

Barend is also a sought-after London-based interior designer who produces unique and ingenious designs that are both beautiful and functional. You can view his Interior Design work at www.massowdesign.com and his recently launched Hemmesphere light shade range at www.hemmesphere.co.uk.
